Zlatan Ibrahimovic remains the only ‘target’ for Milan’s attack, at least for the time being. Once the Swede has signed, the Rossoneri won’t necessarily need a striker although the plans could change, a report claims.
The Rossoneri are very focused on renewing the contract of Ibrahimovic, as Tuttosport explains (via MilanNews.it), and they’re not thinking about other strikers. However, reaching the Europa League group stage could change it all.
Then engaged on three fronts, signing another striker could become a priority as Ibrahimovic certainly can’t play every game. Therefore, Milan have two targets on standby, namely Dusan Vlahovic of Fiorentina and Patrik Schick of Roma.
Milan will enter the Europa League qualifiers in the second round, just a few days before the league opener, and will have to win three games to reach the group stage. It remains to be seen, therefore, if a striker will be brought in September.
