Jens Petter Hauge is one step away from leaving Milan for a fee of around €12m, and this will allow the Rossoneri to move on the market. Above all, the priority is to bring in a playmaker and James Rodriguez is an option.
According to today’s edition of Tuttosport, as cited by MilanNews, Jorge Mendes is on excellent terms with Milan and is pushing to bring Rodriguez there. After Carlo Ancelotti’s departure from Everton, the Colombian is keen on leaving.
Rodriguez himself has flirted with a move to Serie A and his agent is working on the matter. Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are currently evaluating the option as they have some doubts about his physical strength.
The attacking midfielder, for his part, is willing to reduce his salary and settle for around €5m. And as for the transfer fee, Everton signed the player for free last year and their demands thus won’t be super high.

That seems to be a good signing. And an economically appealing, too. It worth stressing the player’s will for a move to Milan. However, it is not clear whether he will perfectly match Pioli’s technical ideas.
Not to mention he’s being injury prone, if you look at his records in the last couple of years.
The thing is that milan medical will have to do a lot of work to make him better in terms of not being injured too much he can create moments of magic but should be constant on the pitch for that, an opportunity milan should cash in as the player wants to take the paycut with only 20 days left negotiating for ziyech is just not right
They must just sign Rodriguez I’m sure he will do way better at Milan trust me
I have note down your name if he ends up being a flop… You will pay back his purchase money to Milan
