Tuttosport: Ex-Chelsea boys shine at Milan as flurry of goals in Europe continues

AC Milan won last night against Slavia Praha thanks to goals from Christian Pulisic and Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who continue to show themselves to be men for the big occasion.

As Tuttosport (via MilanNews) writes this morning, the two players are – together with Olivier Giroud – among Milan’s top scorers this season and they picked out a common trait in their headline: ‘AC Milan have fun with the Chelsea Boys’.

All three were purchased by Chelsea, a club that are seemingly becoming a precious reservoir of talent for the Rossoneri. In addition to Giroud, Pulisic and Loftus-Cheek, Fikayo Tomori cannot be forgotten either given he revolutionised the way Stefano Pioli’s side play.

Speaking of Loftus-Cheek and Pulisic, the paper added that the two former Blues were also decisive on the evening in Prague, with goals and assists.

Pulisic scored the first goal and provided the assist to Leao, while RLC took care of the second goal but also freed the American for the ball to Leao for the third goal too.

The midfielder is Milan’s top scorer in 2024 and has now racked up four goals in four Europa League matches. Pulisic is behind only Giroud in the scoring charts across all competitions for Milan.
