Tuttosport: Fans angry as Ibrahimovic teases at Sanremo return – Milan’s stance is clear

Zlatan Ibrahimovic could be heading for a clash with AC Milan over his potential participation in the Sanrema Festival next year, a report claims.

This morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) carries the headline: “Ibra, desire for Sanremo” and it comes after the striker sent a message via social media to Amadeus, which functioned as a sort of “self-invitation” for a repeat appearance at the Festival having taken part earlier this year.

The Turin newspaper reports how Milan fans were instantly angered by the prospect of the 39-year-old having further commitments during the season, especially after the controversy that it caused earlier this year.

The Rossoneri No.11 will certainly not be able to convince Milan to let him go for the duration of the event, which will be from 2 to 5 February in 2022, but it may be that he looks for another solution with the club such as appearing at one night.
