Tuttosport: Fenerbahçe and Lyon must present bids or Krunic could remain

By Oliver Fisher -

Rade Krunic is attracting interest from two clubs having ended up on the periphery at AC Milan, a report claims, but at the moment things are stuck regarding his exit.

Krunic was not even named in the Milan squad for Tuesday night’s Coppa Italia victory against Cagliari at San Siro. The official reason from the club was ‘back problems’ but he had barely featured prior to that, all while there are exit rumours swirling.

According to this morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews), there is a stalemate regarding the possible departure of Krunic. Fenerbahçe and Lyon are interested in the Bosnian midfielder but they must must make an official offer that satisfies the Rossoneri management.

Milan rightly have no intention of giving away the player for nothing, and he will remain at Milanello until June if a satisfactory offer does not arrive despite the fact he seems to have ended up on the fringes of the project.

The former Empoli man hasn’t played even a minute since November 28 in the Champions League loss against Borussia Dortmund.

If Krunic’s exit were to be confirmed, it is likely new addition will be needed in the middle of the pitch given that Pioli will have to do without Tommaso Pobega for several months and with Ismael Bennacer involved in the African Cup of Nations with Algeria.

  1. How do you freeze a player if you want to sell him??? Who wants to buy a frozen player???
Literally, what the heck is this?

  2. The reason why this article came out is because there probably isn’t a bid for Krunic this January lol 😂. All of this hoopla and he might end up staying lol.

  3. the managment want to Gamble but the other clubs also gamble because they know Milan wants to sell Krunic!

We always have difficulties to sell our Players

  4. So he’ll sit on the bench until his contract expires because nobody wants him. Should have sold him in the summer really. Oh and Origi may be returning. I don’t blame this management. They didn’t buy Krunic or Origi… it was someone’s Heir that did.
