AC Milan have made a straight exchange offer for Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic, according to a report.
It is no secret that Milan are in the market for at least one new centre-back this summer amid doubts over the futures of Mateo Musacchio, Leo Duarte, the on-loan Simon Kjaer and Matteo Gabbia, who could be loaned out.
Nikola Milenkovic is a player who has been constantly linked over the last few weeks given his vast experience in Serie A despite being just 22, which is another factor that makes him appeal to Elliott Management Corporation.
According to Tuesday’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Milan have made their first offer for the Serbia international, offering Lucas Paqueta in a straight swap deal, with both players apparently valued around the €30million range.
La Viola are evaluating, before giving a definitive answer to the Rossoneri regarding the deal, the paper goes on to state.
