Brahim Diaz had a stellar ending to this past season, playing an important role in Milan finishing second and securing their return to the Champions League. And as a result, he could remain at the club for at least one more year.
According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews), the Rossoneri have been in negotiations for Real Madrid for a few weeks now and an agreement is very close. The formula has seemingly been decided: a one-year loan with an option to buy.
The fee hasn’t been revealed yet but Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are both confident that the move will materialise. It will be a very good signing for Milan considering how well Diaz did towards the end of the season.
Furthermore, he’s still just 21-years-old and he has a lot of room to grow. Depending on the buy-out fee, of course, it could be a great deal for Milan.
