Tuttosport: Four-year contract ready for Daniel Maldini as Galliani readies the assault

After Paolo Maldini left the club last year it seems that Daniel Maldini’s future may be away from AC Milan too because Monza want to buy him outright, a report claims.

According to what Tuttosport (via MilanNews) are reporting this morning, Adriano Galliani’s Monza are ready to buy Daniel Maldini who was on loan at Empoli until the January window and then moved to the U-Power Stadium.

The Turin-based newspaper this morning has this headline on the situation linked to the future of Maldini: ‘Monza is betting on Maldini’s future. He will be bought’.

After last year’s loan to Spezia and the difficult first half of this season, he has finally found somewhere to show his qualities. The sub-heading reads: ‘The son of art has convinced: Galliani will take him from Milan, a 4-year contract is ready’.

There is also another young Milan player who has been on loan at Monza since the beginning of the season: Lorenzo Colombo, who has been less convincing and has scored only four goals.

He is currently at the bottom of Raffaele Palladino’s hierarchies for the striker role and for this reason Colombo will return to Milan while waiting to understand what his fate will be starting from next season.
