There is still a chance that AC Milan could let Tommaso Pobega leave this summer, according to a report.
This morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) writes that while incomings may be the focus of the management, they are also working to thin out the squad so it is compact and complete. It is here where a new loan opportunity could present itself for Tommaso Pobega.
The 22-year-old returned to Milan in the summer after an excellent season with Spezia and over the past few weeks evaluations on the player have alternated from the possibility of a sale, to the idea of a stay up to the potential of another departure on loan.
At the moment a definitive decision has not yet been taken as Milan are working to close the signing of Yacine Adli, but in the background Milan know Kessie and Bennacer will be involved in the African Cup of Nations in January. This could play in favour of Pobega as he would get playing time.
