Tuttosport: Goalkeeper carousel begins as Milan make call on Bournemouth man

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have made a decision on on-loan goalkeeper Asmir Begovic ahead of the summer transfer window, according to a report.

With Pepe Reina moving on a loan to Aston Villa until the end of the season, the Rossoneri moved swiftly to secure a new back-up to Gianluigi Donnarumma in the form of Begovic.

The Bournemouth man joined on a six-month loan deal with no option to buy, and at 32 he was brought in to add valuable experience to the group.

According to Tuttosport on Friday though (via MilanNews), Begovic’s Rossoneri adventure will end once the final game of the season is completed on Saturday night against Cagliari.

The Bosnian will not be redeemed by Milan as he is not part of the management’s plans. His place should be taken by Pepe Reina, who will return to Milanello after six months on loan at Aston Villa, who don’t seem to want to make his move permanent either at present.
