AC Milan have accelerated the process of bringing Zlatan Ibrahimovic back to the club in a new role and he could soon have a consultancy job, a report claims.
As has been reported by Tuttosport (via Milan News), the club are ready to move on this issue and want to have the former Swedish striker back at the club as soon as possible.
There were talks very recently between Gerry Cardinale and Ibrahimovic and it seems that some sort of breakthrough was made in the days before the Champions League clash with Paris Saint-Germain.
The role is described by the newspaper as an ‘external super consultant’, something that is often referred to as ‘special counsel’ in the United States of America.
He would not be part of the management at the club, but he would work closely with the team at Milanello and the general managers of Milan as a sounding board.
