Tuttosport: Ibrahimovic sets personal goal regarding his recovery – when he aims to be back for

By Oliver Fisher -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is hoping to be able to take part in the first game of the season in just over a month, according to a report

According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Ibrahimovic is still not training with the rest of the group, and is continuing his recovery after the knee operation on June 18. Yesterday, while the rest of the Rossoneri team were doing athletic work and then a training match, the Swede trained along in the gym.

Ibra’s recovery is proceeding well according to schedule and in a week to ten days, he should be running again, and then it will take about another month to see him back on the pitch. The 39-year-old has a craving to return to play, but no one wants to take risks and speed things up too much.

If the recovery continues in the right way and there are no setbacks, the goal is to be available for the start of the season, scheduled for 22 August. Since the day of the operation, Ibra has targeted that match and is therefore working hard to be ready for that day.

  1. We have a Champion in Ibra. Exactly what our young players need. Someone who will show them what it means to wear the Milan shirt.
