Tuttosport: Ibrahimovic could start for Milan against Salernitana – the latest

By Isak Möller -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic has recovered from his knee surgery and after making a couple of appearance off the bench, he could now get the chance from start against Salernitana.

The Swede has played a combined 40 minutes in the last two league games and as his knee is now considered healed, he could get the chance from start. According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Stefano Pioli is very tempted to make it happen.

Divock Origi and Ante Rebic would be the logical choices, but Ibrahimovic is very keen on playing a game from the first minute even if it means not playing the entirety of it. Tomorrow’s training will likely be decisive to decide the matter.

Pioli will have his press conference at 14:30 CET on Sunday as Milan will take on Salernitana on Monday evening. The manager is expected to make some changes to the starting XI, as expected, and you can read more about that here.
