Tuttosport: Ibrahimovic to say goodbye to Milan – one club the clear favourite to land him

By Oliver Fisher -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s second spell at AC Milan is destined to end once the current campaign concludes, according to a report.

Ibrahimovic’s future at Milan appears to be very uncertain, but the are growing reports that a separation between the parties at the end of the season is highly likely.

Current Bologna and former Milan boss Sinisa Mihajlovic even declared on Sunday that the Swede is definitely leaving Milan, opening the door for a move to the Rossoblu or a return to Sweden.

As Tuttosport are reporting on Monday (via MilanLive), the 38-year-old’s second adventure is now reaching an end, with one concrete possibility now remaining.

Unless there is a possible twist from Germany and a Bundesliga side makes a move, the most likely fate for Ibrahimovic – Tuttosport claims – remains a return to Sweden where he would be closer to his family.

He could eend his career at Hammarby, a club he recently bought 25% of the shares in and trained with during the lockdown. It would be the most logical choice, as well as the simplest one, with Bologna unable to afford his salary.
