Tuttosport: Inter could block exit of defender despite two-year offer from Milan

By Isak Möller -

Milan are making their plans ahead of the summer as there are just eight games left of the season, and the Rossoneri are still in second place. Obviously, their strategy will heavily depend on Champions League qualification.

Having said that, there are still some operations that the Rossoneri are comfortable with either way, which is why they have started some of the work already. As reported by Tuttosport (via MilanNews), they have made an offer to an Inter defender.

The player in question is the versatile Danilo D’Ambrosio, whose contract with the Nerazzurri will expire in the summer. Per the newspaper, Milan presented a two-year offer during a meeting with his entourage recently.

D’Ambrosio didn’t say not to the deal but there is a problem, as Inter have the opportunity to keep him for one more season. There is an extension clause in the contract and the player doesn’t have a say in the matter.
