Tuttosport: Jorge Mendes pushing hard to bring wantaway Everton star to Milan – the latest

By Nikita Fesyukov -

Many attacking midfielders have been linked to AC Milan, as the Rossoneri management continues to hunt for Hakan Calhanoglu’s replacement on the transfer market. One of the names mentioned by the media is also Everton’s James Rodriguez, who seems on his way out of the English club.

The 30-year-old Colombian arrived at Goodison Park last summer to reunite with his former manager at Real Madrid Carlo Ancelotti.

However, the Italian manager returned to the Los Blancos several months ago, which has put James into a strange position, with the player also reportedly not in the plans of new coach Rafa Benitez.

Moreover, the player himself has expressed his desire for a new adventure, labelling Italy as a ‘good option’ in one of his Twitch streams.

And according to Tuttosport (via Milannews.it), the agent of the player, Jorge Mendes, is pushing hard to bring the Colombian to Milanello and thus also bring Milan their much-desired reinforcement of the attacking midfielder position.
