Juventus are already convinced by Pierre Kalulu and as things stand currently they will sign him permanently from AC Milan at the end of the season, a report claims.

There was some surprise regarding Milan’s decision to let Kalulu leave for a rival, but it is believed that a combination of injuries, Fonseca’s tactical ideas and a lack of clarity over his role were the factors that motivated Milan’s decision to part ways.

According to Tuttosport (via Radio Rossonera), Kalulu has made a great start to his time with Juve. He has been deployed both as a full-back and as a central defender, and has always given more than convincing performances when fielded.

Despite only being the third choice on the wish list during the summer behind Riccardo Calafiori and Jean-Clair Todibo, he has already convinced Thiago Motta to use him and this could have indications regarding his future.

The paper states that their sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli is already ready to buy the French defender. The agreement with Milan included a €3.3m fee for the loan plus €14m for the option to buy and €3m in additional bonuses.

The Rossoneri will also receive 10 percent on any future resale. If Kalulu were to keep going after this excellent start, then Milan might just feel a bit of regret.

      1. Dudes Milan is attacking style oriented club. Emerson is full back and Kalulu is not. Emerson had excellent cross to Leao vs Inter which Kalulu can’t do. That’s why Milan bought Emerson

        1. Have you seen Kalulu play for France? The boy is 10 times the player (both offensively and defensively) Emerson Royal is. This management team Milan has are some of the most clueless that I have seen in a while (and that speaks volumes) based on some of their decisions made post Maldini era.

        2. Kalulu is and always was a rb. Don’t you know anything about football? The fact he can play cb just makes him that more adaptable and probs valuable

      2. Partially his fault? He was covering Di Marco and left him alone to attack Lautaro with 2 Milan players on him. How is it partially his fault? it is 100% his fault. Clean is when you gift a goal to the opposing team?

      3. He didn’t play clean. He had an improves second half compared to the disastrous 1st half. Stop making excuses for a player who CLEARLY isn’t worth even a quarter of what was paid for him. Meanwhile we keep shipping out promising youngsters that our rivals keep turning into decent enough to world class players.

    1. Let’s see when he goes to Premier League for 50M. You people can’t see a top defender if he was poking you in the eyes with a stick. Thiaw was left at Milan and Kalulu sold. Kalulu is at least twice the player Thiaw is.

      1. Apparently Juve couldn’t see that Kalulu is a top defendee either since he was their 3rd choice even though much cheaper than Calafiori and Todibo.
Thiaw and Kalulu are both mid.
You must have forgotten that Kalulu lost his spot to Thiaw at Milan and couldn’t beat out Florenzi and Calabria for the RB position, but after a couple good games at Juventus he is all of a sudden a great defender, sure thing 👍.

        1. So you think Kalulu losing his position was due to him being average or worse than Thiaw? Have you seen most of the game Thiaw played for us last season? Do you remember his first set of games that he played for us? Can you even remember those horrid performances? He almost always has a lapse of judgement or an error or 2 leading to a goal in him. Granted Kalulu has had a stinker or 2 in him as well over the years, but nowhere near the amount of the frequency that Thiaw has over the years yet still he got more chances just because of preference from the coach.

  1. Folks there is a plan by Cardinale, buy with Value as the intent, sell the surplus players high, buy Kalulu for 1 million sell for 17 million, buy RLC for 20 million, sell for 35 million, Buy Silvano Vos for 5 million sell on for 40 million. At the same time keep core players like magic mike, Rafa and Theo and insert value pieces around them, Morata, Tammy and Fofana. Doesn’t always work, they sold De ketelaere too early, missed the peak with Bennacer and lost huge on Kessie, Gigi and Hakan. This system is always increases the value of the squad. Could you imagine De Ketelaere with Fonseca as the coach rather than Pioli? Wow!!

  2. These sorts of stories are always complete nonsense – why would they bother thinking about this now? They can make that decision at the end of the season if he has form and health.

  3. 1 good game wont mean you are a better players he was straight up trash the other games kalulu is a better player emerson also had a few good games for spurs but still was called one of the worst player in premier league history the guy has mistake in him every game yes it was better but honestly more than half of inter players are as old as my grandma they dont have the legs anymore this game was must win game

  4. The debate of Royal and Kalulu will continue till the end of the season, Kalulu is playing well now while Royal is still picking up, with his first and fourth game I see some improvements I mean Royal, let see if he can replicate what he did with conte at Tottenham, but still time will be the best answer for both players, for me it’s too early to blame or praise, the season is long be reminded. Forza Milan
