Tuttosport: Juventus-Milan will not be played behind closed doors – the restrictions

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan’s Coppa Italia semi-final second leg against Juventus looks set to be played in front of fans despite the coronavirus outbreak, a report claims.

The Rossoneri will have it all to do in Turin on Wednesday night after the 1-1 first leg draw last month, but if they can beat the Bianconeri then they will reach their third cup final in the past five seasons.

According to the latest from Tuttosport (via MilanNews), the game is moving towards being played with open doors despite the various postponements over the weekend.

However, there will be limitations for fans from Lombardy, Veneto and Emilia Romagna – where coronavirus is particularly bad – and from the provinces of Savona and Pesaro-Urbino.

There is no official decision yet, but the closed door option should now be discarded, even if at present it seems like a clear advantage for Juve as no Milan fans from their home province will be allowed to attend the game.
