Tuttosport: Kamada has said ‘yes’ to Milan move – why Maldini is waiting

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan have reached an agreement with soon-to-be free agent Daichi Kamada and the Japanese international could thus be wearing red and black next season. In fact, the Rossoneri just need to give the final go-ahead.

As reported by Tuttosport this morning (via MilanNews), Milan have been in talks with the entourage of Kamada for quite some time. The player recently said yes to a contract worth around €3m per year for 3-4 years.

The final go-ahead is still needed from Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara, who simultaneously are focused on the season finale with just two games left, with the top-four race not officially decided yet. The feeling is that Milan will sign the player in the end, though.

Kamada has made 45 appearances for Frankfurt this season and he has found the back of the net 16 times, as well as assisting six goals. Being a very flexible midfielder, he’s the perfect reinforcement for Stefano Pioli’s side.

  1. Now go for Cher Ndour. Another free agent who is 18 and has Italian citinzenship. He is a great prospect for the DMF/Double pivot position. With this two signings you are basicly fixing your midfieled for free and can now use your more money for CF and RW.

  2. If it is a case of Diaz or kamada, I’m for the latter.
    That’s before considering the costs.
Just sign him up, soo much better than our current options

  3. Maybe even try to get tielemans and cher ndour two players+ kamada that gonna fix the midfield use all the rest of the budget on good striker like David and a RW like Wahi or Berardi or diaby

      1. We need good players on the bench too. Players who can score against Spezia, Cremonese etc. Berardi is one of those.

        1. Well you have good point too. With bench like origi, rebic, cdk, saladmaker that cannot score against small club serie A it is awful. If we focus on both serie A and CL , we need bench player that can score goal too.

  4. Milan is trying to figure out what to do with Diaz. They are obviously tied to CDK waiting for him to develop. So having a third peg in Diaz would be too much. I hope they don’t wait too long and miss out on Kamada.

  5. I don’t know who the F is Kamada, Cher Ndour, or whoever name these people mention Maldini must sign.

But if Maldini signed these players and they turned out medioker or useless as fvck, then i don’t want to see you whiny wankers blame Maldini or even Pioli!!!

  6. Very soon PL clubs are going for Kamada and Milan will continue wailing same way they let Enzo Fernández,Ricky Alvarez and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia signed for other clubs for a chicken change.
