Tuttosport: Kessie not expected to start against Lazio – three new signings could feature

With the game against Lazio at San Siro on Sunday night fast approaching, some team news is beginning to filter about potential selection choices.

This morning’s edition Tuttosport (via MilanNews) predicts that head coach Stefano Pioli could throw the newly arrived Junior Messias into the fray for what would be his Rossoneri debut, be it in the starting XI or off the bench.

Not only that, but Pietro Pellegri and Tiemoue Bakayoko will be called up for the game too so there could be a trio of first appearances. In midfield, the double pivot is likely be made up of Sandro Tonali and Ismael Bennacer.

This is of course an implication that Franck Kessie is not quite back to 100% of his condition yet and is not expected to be there before the game this weekend, with the medical staff perhaps more cautiously targeting the Liverpool game next Wednesday as his first start.

    1. Kessie has no resolve to play for milan, thus he is not good to start anymore

remember milan start losing last year when donnaruma and calhagnolu and romagnoli decided not to renew on January, making team losing morale.

those who doesn’t wanna play for the club, doesn’t deserve to play

      1. Agreed..If you want to leave..leave..or else sit on bench..those that are willing to give 100% are the one that get to play

        1. In my country players that don’t want to renew are sent to train with the 3rd team (juniors) for the same reason./no future at the club and gives low morale to others

  1. Kessie should be sold in January. He should not have the honour of wearing Milan Jersey again. He has no respect for his on voluntary pronouncements and has no integrity.

  2. let him go out for money if that’s the priority, Milan gave him enough playing time when he was shiet, for clubs and fans players come and go, for players there might be only one career
