A buy-out clause that has to be triggered. Ever since his arrival in January, Simon Kjaer has proven to be a good player and an exemplary professional. In the summer, AC Milan can sign him permanently.
According to today’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews.it), the Danish international has provided the Rossoneri defence with guarantees. Arriving from Sevilla on a six-month loan, his buy-out clause is set at just €2.5m.
Stefano Pioli quickly became a fan of the player, sending Mateo Musacchio to the bench almost immediately. In addition to performing well, Kjaer has brought experience to the team, helping a very young squad to do even better.
Certainly, the buy-out clause is very low considering how well he has performed. Furthermore, the player himself is keen on staying at the club, having settled in very well after just a few months.
Now, it’s up to CEO Ivan Gazidis – along with the manager for next season – to make a decision on the defender’s future.
