Tuttosport: Sale not excluded as Krunic shoots high with renewal demands

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have been left a bit shocked by Rade Krunic’s requests to renew and a sale next summer cannot be ruled out, a report claims.

According to what is being reported by Tuttosport (via PianetaMilan), Milan have shown a willingness to sit down and discuss a new contract with Krunic but he is requesting a significant salary increase to pen his long-term future.

Thus, the renewal talks are at a standstill. The Bosnian – who received an offer of around €3-3.5m net per season from Fenerbahce in the summer – would like to renew with a salary in line with what the Turkish side were offering.

Milan are willing to do around €2m net per season as a fixed amount with some bonuses on top, but new meetings will be necessary to understand if an agreement can be reached.

It cannot be ruled out that Milan, without a renewal, could sell him in the summer in order to avoid letting things get too close to the deadline.

  1. Imo if Krunic willing to renew for twice his current salary, so about €2.2m per year (fair amount I’d say) then let him stay. But as a rotation player and not starting eleven.

If he won’t lower his demand, while also demand more playing time, maybe it’s time to say goodbye to him.

  2. Sell him in January if there is an opportunity and get a proper player. Krunic is ok, but you can find better players for 15-20M.

    1. Seedorf today would ask for 9 mln a year, I hope you realize this correct? So clearly Rade didnt think that. But he does demand what Turks were ready to give him. What is wrong with that? He is a professional after all. And he is a great pkayer btw. Not Seedorf, but who is?

      1. He is ok, but he doesn’t deserve that amount in any case. If you compare what some other players get, 2.2M is extremely good for him. If he doesn’t like it he should be sold.

  3. What is this, like 3rd or 4th article about Kruni’s renewal? Same info every time? I’ve heard of click bait, but come on guys… really?
