Tuttosport: Latest on possible Laxalt-Miranchuk swap deal – the hypothesis cools

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan’s negotiations with Lokomotiv Moscow over a possible swap deal involving Diego Laxalt have gone cold, a report claims.

Calciomercato.com reported earlier recently that a well-known Russian intermediary met the Rossoneri management at Casa Milan to negotiate on behalf of Lokomotiv Moscow, who are keen on signing Laxalt for next season, with a €7m offer presented.

The report added that the bid was rejected by Milan who are looking to raise €10m from his sale, but his agent added fuel to the fire by confirming his client’s willingness to play in Russia.

According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews) on Thursday though, the negotiation with Lokomotiv Moscow for Diego Laxalt is currently in a stalemate, as the two clubs have been unable to find an economic agreement.

Consequently, the idea of a swap deal involving playmaker Aleksey Miranchuk has also cooled a bit in recent days, as it is likely any move for the Russia international depended on the Uruguayan going the other way.
