Tuttosport: Lazio’s interest in Paqueta not confirmed but Milan are open to loan formula

The dilemma that AC Milan face regarding the future of Lucas Paqueta has been well documented, and it appears no closer to being resolved.

After a difficult season, it has been speculated that the Brazil international could depart a year and a half after his arrival from Flamengo. The problem is though that Milan must sell for at least €25million to avoid a capital loss on the balance sheet.

Over the weekend though, it was reported that Lazio had shown an interest in signing Paqueta in what would be a loan exchange involving forward Felipe Caicedo, a player who would fix Milan’s back-up striker issue.

Tuesday’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanLive) has commented on the speculation that Lazio are keen on the 23-year-old, claiming that indiscretions concerning an interest on the part of the Biancoceleste are not confirmed.

Milan in general also seem willing to discuss a potential loan for Paqueta, but they would need an obligation to buy inserting.
