Tuttosport: Lens express interest in Milan midfielder and could satisfy €28m demand

Charles De Ketelaere has ended up on the radar of Lens, according to a report. The Belgian could leave AC Milan this summer after a disappointing first season with the club, but the price tag is clear.

De Ketelaere joined Milan for just over €35m last summer and his first season was far from a success, registering just one assist. While the 22-year-old is eager to redeem himself, however, the Rossoneri are open to a sale.

According to today’s edition of Tuttosport, Ligue 1 side Léns have expressed their interest in the player. Milan have made it clear that they want at least €28m, so to avoid a capital gain, and the French side could perhaps satisfy this.

In fact, Lens are in a good position financially after selling Lois Openda for €43m to RB Leipzig and Seko Fofana for €25m to Al Nassr. It remains to be seen if they will initiate talks with Milan to make an official offer.
