Tuttosport: Lokomotiv want Miranchuk to be part of deal involving Milan outcast

By Isak Möller -

As Stefano Pioli has been confirmed as the manager for next season, AC Milan are now probing the market for potential reinforcements. However, they will also have to sell some players in September, such as Diego Laxalt.

The Uruguayan left-back started the season on loan at Torino but was called back in January, as the Rossoneri loaned out Ricardo Rodriguez. He hasn’t played many games, though, and his future will be far from Milan.

According to today’s edition of Tuttosport, as cited by MilanNews.it, Lokomotiv Moscow are very interest in Laxalt and are working to close a deal. In order to reach Milan’s demands, they have put Aleksey Miranchuk on the plate.

Of course, this means that the Rossoneri would have to pay a bit, seeing as the midfielder has a higher valuation than the defender. Milan’s sporting director, Ricky Massara, is fond of the Russian international and could try to make a deal.
