AC Milan are expecting to have Mike Maignan fit and back in the team for the Serie A match against Lazio which is coming up, a report claims.
As has been reported by Tuttosport (via Milan News), the French goalkeeper should be recovered by the time AC Milan welcome Lazio to the San Siro at the end of September.
Milan are in action today against Verona at San Siro but Marco Sportiello is going to be the goalkeeper, making his first start for the club since joining on a free transfer from Atalanta.
Maignan suffered an injury against Newcastle in the Champions League earlier in the week and that led to Sportiello getting his first Milan minutes from the bench.
He is also expected to be in goal for Milan’s trip to Sardinia to face Cagliari in midweek, but then the Lazio match on September 30 should see Maignan return to his place.
