Tuttosport: Man Utd will only let defender rejoin Milan if talks with Atletico Madrid go to plan

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are continuing their pursuit of Diogo Dalot but Manchester United would only sell under one condition, a report claims.

Dalot spent last season on loan with the Rossoneri and impressed Stefano Pioli due to his availability and also his versatility, but it was only a dry loan with no option or obligation to buy, therefore the two clubs will have to negotiate again if he is to return to the San Siro.

This morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) writes that Milan are still looking for a deputy right-back and the first name on the list is still Dalot. For the moment, however, Manchester United are not interested in letting him leave and do not seem willing to do so until they sign another player in that area.

The Red Devils are in talks over Kieran Trippier of Atletico Madrid, and it seems the English full-back will have to arrive before Dalot could join the Diavolo.
