Tuttosport: Market value of Milan star Kessie has skyrocketed after amazing season – the figure

By Oliver Fisher -

The market value of AC Milan midfielder Franck Kessie has continued to skyrocket after a fantastic season, according to a report.

It was all the way back on 2 June 2017 that it was announced that Milan had acquired Kessie on a two-year loan deal with an obligation to buy from Lombardy rivals Atalanta, and it has been a rollercoaster ride for the Ivorian who was inconsistent for large parts of his first two seasons before establishing himself in the 2020-21 campaign as probably the league’s best defensive midfielder.

The knock-on effect is that Milan have been rewarded for their patience and perseverance, as Tuttosport (via Calciomercato.com) writes that Kessie’s value has now gone up even further. The paper reports that the 24-year-old now has a market value of €60m and the fact his contract with Milan expires in the summer of 2022 should force the management to act quickly and secure his long-term future.

In all honesty. What are the odds hes actually 24??? I have a feeling hes 29-30

  4. Tomato says:

My opinion will not be popular. But I would sell in a minute for 60M

    1. MC Miker G says:

It may well come to that, given how stingy Elliot are with wages. They’re trying to run a Champions League side on Serie B wages.

  5. Kokis says:

60 mil is a joke. Let’s see if many teams are interested of this overating player

  6. I am Forzza says:

    That he will like Donnarumma,
Milan will not give Kesie 5 million as requested by his agent

  7. Juro says:

We better give him what he wants (5M?) otherwise an English team will gladly pay him 8M a season easy. Also need to send message to players who are considering to come to Milan that we will pay for star players. Otherwise who are we going to attract?? Veteran s nobody wants or super young players? Reward those that deserve it through their play. And not those who don’t (Romagnoli). Need to lock up Benacer and Theo with raises as well or risk losing them too. Let’s go Milan lots of work to do!
