Tuttosport: Milan could abandon Botman pursuit to sign two key targets

By Isak Möller -

Over the last few weeks, AC Milan have mainly been linked with three players: Sven Botman, Renato Sanches and Charles De Ketelaere. However, the Rossoneri might focus on the latter two, a report claims.

Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are seemingly close to renewing their respective contract and that could unlock the market for Milan. That doesn’t mean they won’t have to make priorities, though, as reported by Tuttosport (via MilanNews).

In order to remain financially responsible, Milan could abandon the pursuit of Botman and make a move for Sanches as well as De Ketelaere instead. They could turn to a low-cost option for the defence, given that Matteo Gabbia (loan) and Alessio Romagnoli will leave.

Paris Saint-Germain are making life difficult for Milan with regards to the Sanches pursuit, while Club Brugge are asking for €40m to seel De Ketelaere. None of the operations are easy, therefore, but the Rossoneri won’t give up.
