Franck Kessie’s contract with AC Milan will expire at the end of the season and there is still no agreement on a renewal. His future, therefore, is very uncertain and the Rossoneri are planning accordingly.
Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have been in talks with Kessie’s agent for several months, without reaching a successful conclusion. And with January approaching, the situation is getting more and more complicated.
According to today’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Milan are well prepared for the potential departure of Kessie. Just this summer, they brought in Yacine Adli on a permanent basis but decided to leave him on loan at Bordeaux.
The youngster has impressed in Ligue 1 and will surely be a great asset for Stefano Pioli next season. In addition to him, Tommaso Pobega will return from his loan spell at Torino, where he also has done very well. In short, Milan already have two ‘new’ players and the management has this in mind in the Kessie negotiations.

when Adli join, Milan should change their formation to 3 in the middle. 1 regista and 2 mezzala
I disagree. We have been extremely successful with the current double pivot formation….don’t think we should change it at all. Adil is more suited as an ACM anyways….back up to Diaz and his eventual replacement (unfortunately when Real exercises his buy back option). Sign Kamara
