AC Milan have a strategy regarding the future of loanees Brahim Diaz and Diogo Dalot, according to a report.

Both the Spaniard and the Portuguese arrived on dry loans during the 2020 summer transfer window from Real Madrid and Manchester United respectively, and according to Tuttosport (via MilanLive), Milan are already thinking about trying to make them permanent moves.

Thanks to his work with the intermediaries of the two negotiations – Crnjar and Giuffrida – Maldini secured the possibility of negotiating a permanent deal for both Brahim and Dalot during the season ahead.

However, the paper adds that it won’t be easy because Real Madrid and Manchester United intend at the moment to welcome back both 21-year-old’s once the 2020-21 season is over.

The next few months will be decisive for both Milan and for the players. If they earn the complete trust of the management and carve out key roles, it cannot be ruled out that they push to stay themselves.
