Napoli have joined AC Milan in the race to land Santos striker Kaio Jorge ahead of the upcoming summer mercato, according to a report.
Calciomercato.com recently reported how the Rossoneri are keeping an eye on Jorge, the 19-year-old Brazilian forward who plays for Santos. His contract expires in December 2021 and this makes him an attractive target for many teams, with Maldini and Massara also evaluating him at the moment, as are Marseille, Arsenal and Chelsea.
They added how contacts have already been started with his agent Giuliano Bertolucci and Milan have not yet accelerated the negotiations, because they intend to evaluate other options before making a concrete effort to land the teenager. A lot potentially depends on the future of Ibrahimovic and Mandzukic.
However, it seems as though Milan now have competition in the race to land the teenage striker. According to Tuttosport (via Calciomercato.com), Napoli are also keen on landing Jorge, who would cost around €25m this summer
