Davide Calabria’s future at AC Milan is currently hanging at the balance and he could be sold in the summer, according to a report.
Wednesday’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanLive) reports that after a troubled season where he lost his place in favour of Andrea Conti, a farewell cannot be not excluded for Calabria.
After Manuel Locatelli and Patrick Cutrone, the 22-year-old could become the latest Primavera product to be shipped out of the door by Milan in favour of what would be a pure capital gain.
In the summer, the club will try and sign a new right-back, the report continues. Given that Conti for now has won the battle to start in that particular position, he also appears most likely to stay beyond the summer window.
Calciomercato.com recently reported that it will be a ‘summer of new revolution’ for Milan and the headlights are focused on the defence, with three targets already identified for the right side.
