Tuttosport: Milan and Donnarumma move towards renewal with final details to be sorted

By Oliver Fisher -

In the next few hours, Milan and Mino Raiola will return to talk and will discuss not only the renewal of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but probably also that of Gianluigi Donnarumma.

According to a report from Tuttosport on Friday (via MilanNews), the Rossoneri goalkeeper has ever hidden his will to stay at Milan and therefore he will soon extend his contract, with his current deal expiring on 30 June 2021.

The paper explains that the two parties will try to define the final details in the next meeting, in particular the bonuses of the contract and the release termination clause that Raiola would like at less than €50million, while Milan do not want one at all.

The negotiations will go on, but the road seems to be going downhill because Gigio’s desire is above everything else.

Donnarumma will be on the field with the captain’s armband – given the absence of Romagnoli – in Saturday’s season finale against Cagliari. The 21-year-old has one idea in mind before going for his summer holidays: to reach 13 clean sheets in Serie A.
