Tuttosport: Milan annoyed as Zirkzee’s agent asks for €10m in commission

Joshua Zirkzee has ended up at the top of AC Milan’s wish list ahead of the summer mercato, with the club in need of a No.9 after Olivier Giroud’s departure. However, as a report claims, a very high commission request is making it complicated.

Zirkzee is being followed by several big clubs after what has been a very successful season for him and Bologna. Milan have been keeping tabs on the situation for a long time, and we first reported about the concrete interest back in December.

According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Milan are very keen on securing the Dutchman this summer and they are ready to pay the €40m release clause. An important salary will also be on the table for the striker but still, the operation is rather complicated.

Indeed, as the newspaper continues, Zirkzee’s agent Kia Joorabchian is asking for at least €10m in commission to make the deal happen. Milan have never got close to these amounts in recent years, at most paying €2.8m to the entourage of Charles De Ketelaere.

It remains to be seen if a middle ground can be found, but it should also be noted that Bayern Munich reportedly are interested and they have a buy-back clause.
