Tuttosport: Milan ask about Jovic in talks with Real Madrid – striker tempted by the move

By Oliver Fisher -

During the talks with Real Madrid for Brahim Diaz, the name of Luka Jovic also came up once again, according to a report.

The striker was repeatedly linked with a move to Milan when it seemed certain that Ralf Rangnick would arrive as manager and that Zlatan Ibrahimovic would leave.

However, Friday’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) reported that the Milan management are evaluating the possibility of signing a centre-forward who can alternate with the Swede.

At the moment the Rossoneri’s priorities are to conclude a deal for Bakayoko, to sign a right-back, central defender and a deputy goalkeeper, but during the negotiations with Real Madrid the name of Jovic was mentioned.

The Serbia international had a rather disappointing first season with Los Blancos after they paid €65m to sign him from Eintracht Frankfurt. Milan cannot afford large outlays and for this reason they asked for a dry loan.

The player is thinking about it, because so far no great offers have arrived for him. Milan could be an important opportunity for him, but a little patience will be needed because at the moment there are other urgencies.
