Tuttosport: Milan chasing 21-year-old French midfielder for two reasons – player wants move

AC Milan are still interested in signing Yacine Adli from Bordeaux but negotiations are proving to be difficult, according to a report.

According to Tuttosport (via MilanNews), the Bordeaux midfielder is a profile that the Rossoneri are big fans of because of his versatility, given that he can play as both a playmaker and in the double pivot.

The distance between the clubs is not unbridgeable as the Rossoneri have offered €12m while Bordeaux are asking for a figure between €15-18m. It is a high valuation, but is one that could be lowered considering the player’s desire to move to the Rossoneri before the window shuts.

Adli is admired not just because he is promising young player in line with Elliott Management’s project but also because he is able to adapt to multiple roles and formations. The Frenchman can play in both a 4-2-3-1 and a 4-4-2, either as a central midfielder, an attacking midfielder or even out wide if needed.
