Tuttosport: Milan close to double renewal – the figures and when the signatures should arrive

AC Milan are close to being able to announce the renewals of Gianluigi Donnarumma and Hakan Calhanoglu, according to a report.

Tuttosport (via MilanLive) reports this morning that the agreements with the two players and their respective agents is now very close.

The first to renew should be Calhanoglu, as the meeting between Paolo Maldini and his agent Gordon Stipic earlier in the week was positive. A compromise is being made after the initial differences between offer and demand.

The right amount seems to be €4.5million net per season plus easily achievable bonuses, and under these conditions Calhanoglu would be more than happy to put pen to paper.

Soon Mino Raiola will also meet the Milan management to discuss the renewal of Donnarumma. The feelings seem to be very positive and the player’s desire is key as he has always insisted that he wants to continue his career with the Rossoneri.

By the end of January, Donnarumma should therefore receive the official offer of €7.5m per year plus bonuses. It is still being assessed whether there will be a release clause inserted in case of non-qualification for the Champions League.
