Tuttosport: Milan could attempt to sign versatile Napoli man on a free transfer

By Isak Möller -

As Diogo Dalot is set to return to Manchester United, Milan will have to sign at least one full-back to consider themselves covered for next season. Several names have been mentioned lately, Elseid Hysaj being one of them.

The Albanian’s contract with Napoli will expire at the end of this month and as reported by Tuttosport (via MilanNews), he could be a wild card signing for Milan. Able to play on both sides of the defence, he could be very useful.

Pierre Kalulu impressed this past season and should be the deputy on the right, but he’s also been used as a centre-back. Therefore, another right-back signing shouldn’t be excluded.

On the other hand, should Milan go for Hysaj, then they wouldn’t need another signing as he can play on both sides. Much like Diogo Dalot, who was an important player for the Rossoneri this past season with his versatility.
