Tuttosport: Milan could collect €5-10m as Betis want to sign attacking outcast

By Isak Möller -

Milan are expected to part ways with quite a few players this summer, having already said goodbye to Diego Laxalt. Samu Castillejo is another player that is destined to leave, with interest coming from Spain.

The No.7 made 43 appearances for the Rossoneri this past season but only managed to find the back of the net three times. This simply isn’t good enough and Milan are now looking to sign a more prolific right-winger.

Castillejo, meanwhile, has attracted the interest of Real Betis who would like to bring him back to Spain. According to Tuttosport, as cited by MilanNews, the price tag of the winger is between €5-10m. Not a significant amount, but it could help.

Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara will surely use this to reinvest on the market and in today’s climate, such an amount could help a lot. It remains to be seen if Betis will make a concrete step to sign Castillejo.

    1. And who would pay that much for him? A winger with 3 goals and 1 assists from 22 starts and 18 substitutes. 1 dribble per game, 0.4 key passes, 17 passes per game. They talk about his defensive ability, he has 0.3 intereceptions per game and is dribble past 1.5 times per game. I could do better if I trained with Milan for 1 year. I haven’t seen a worse “winger” in a long long time, never understood what people see in a winger that can’t dribble and passes 17 times per game with 15 of those going backwards. A horrible player, if they can cheat someone and get 8M or a bit more it is a miracle.
