Brahim Diaz has been one of Milan’s best players in the last two games and has certainly increased his chances of staying for one more year. As his loan will expire in the summer, it all depends on Real Madrid.
According to today’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Milan want to extend the loan for one more year. They know that Real Madrid won’t accept an outright sale, at least not for the price that the Rossoneri could be willing to pay.
In addition to the loan extension, Paolo Maldini also wants to include a buy-out clause in the deal and the value of that could perhaps be closer to Real Madrid’s demands. Because in a year, we will know if the playmaker is worth the alleged price.
It remains to be seen if the Bernabeu side will agree to include a buy-out clause, though there shouldn’t be any problems with extending the loan as Diaz wants to stay.
