Tuttosport: Milan could make one last push to sign versatile 21-year-old from Ligue 1

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan could decide to make one last attempt to sign midfielder Yacine Adli from Bordeaux before August 31, according to a report.

The Rossoneri have been linked with a number of potential reinforcements for the midfield department and a lot of them have had a similar profile as being young and versatile players who can grow in Serie A – perfectly in line with the diktat imposed by owners Elliott Management and their youth-led recruitment drive.

According to this morning’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Milan could launch one last push to sign the 21-year-old from Bordeaux before the window slams shut, especially if the negotiations for Romain Faivre were to on for a long time.

The newspaper explains that Adli can play both as a central midfielder and as an attacking midfielder, meaning he is a profile that the management are fond of given his age, potential and his versatility.

    1. WTF are you talking about? Leoa, Rebic, Ibra, Giroud, Pellegri, Brahim, we have plenty of “attackers”. Just need an attacking RW and they know this. If one hasn’t arrived it’s because the budget isn’t there.

    2. Zoro open eyes and ears as well
Adli is what Acmilan need to create and score fantastic goals against teams like Juve, Atalanta, and and the menaces Inter

He is an ATTACKING Midfielder…… No. 10

  1. Zoro
I don’t know where are you who are you
But I don’t think you know Maldini at all
He loves Milan more than any one in the world.
The owners are suckers. They do t give him anything

    1. @Zoro you don’t no Milan and maldini doesn’t love Milan bcos if he does he should be able to make the management see reasons to invest in quality players or he resign his position bcos Milan has lost his glory we no where Messi who have be if it was during Belusconi era🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️Good old days long live Beluccuconi for giving us good and sweet memories.

      1. Yeah and he also had to see the club because he couldn’t keep up the spending. It was already in decline when he sold. They need to teach more economics classes in Nigeria.

      2. Agreed Milanista
Berli had his demons but he gave the city of Milan the world
He gave the world envy of Italian Calcio, everyone wanted to be ACMILAN
No matter what he does his legacy will live on!

      3. Belusconi era was different, there was no inflation in the market. Player weren’t going after the money like crazy. Now we have financial fair play, salary cap, transfer market inflated. Not to mention Seria A isn’t has popular like it use to be which brings revenue for clubs. Unless you have owners like PSG, Manchester city or Chelsea the chances to get top prospects are slim. Juventus are barely staying afloat as it is, Inter lost their star players, in a season or 2 they will lose Martinez. They are working with what they have. If you invest, you got to see results which isn’t immediately in this case where fund are unlimited. I don’t you guys understand the financial aspect of today’s football.

  2. I think if signing another RW is such a big deal, we might just have to settle for Saelmaekers and Florenzi, excluding Castillejo who looks set to join Getafe if the news is true.

Let’s focus on bringing Faivre or Adli as a second AM before the window shuts down
