AC Milan are continuing to track Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic ahead of the summer window with a swap deal possible, a report claims.
The Rossoneri are in the market to find a consistent long-term partner for captain Alessio Romagnoli in the centre of defence, with Milenkovic among the names that has been repeatedly linked over the past few weeks.
According to Tuesday’s edition of the newspaper Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Milan do indeed have a strong interest in the Serbia international and have spoken several times with his agent Fali Ramadani, who also represents Ante Rebic and Luka Jovic.
The current valuation that La Viola have slapped on the 22-year-old is €35million – a figure deemed too high by the Milan management.
However, Fiorentina really like Milan midfielder Lucas Paqueta, who could be involved in some kind of an exchange deal which would allow the Brazilian to have a fresh start in Florence.
