Tuttosport: Milan could sign both young and experienced striker – Giroud, Boadu and all the names

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are continuing to look for potential players that could reinforce the attacking department ahead of next season, a report claims.

Today the newspaper Tuttosport (via MilanLive) confirms that Milan are interested in Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud. Any contract offer will have to be around €3.5m net per year for two seasons, but Milan would be able to guarantee him playing time given he would basically share responsibilities with Zlatan Ubrahimovic. Inter and Lazio are thinking of reinforcing their attack with the Frenchman.

Maldini and Massara are concretely evaluating the possibility of signing another experienced centre-forward with Giroud a profile that is very popular. His eventual arrival, however, would not completely exclude the possibility of signing a young striker at not excessively high figures.

Dusan Vlahovic therefore seems off the table as his valuation exceeds €40m. The likes of Toulouse’s Amine Adli and 20-year-old Dutchman Myron Boadu from AZ Alkmaar are more realistic.
