Tuttosport: Milan could still reunite with Watford star this summer – the situation

Gerard Delufeou remains on the radar of Milan. The Spaniard, who had a six-month spell at the club back in 2017, is keen on making a return and the possibility is still alive, a report claims.

According to today’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews.it), taking stock of the Rossoneri’s transfer strategy, Deulofeu is still a possibility. Just like Tiemoiue Bakayoko, who is closing in on a move from Chelsea, the winger would be a returnee.

The 26-year-old wants to leave Watford, who were relegated to the Championship, ahead of next season and his Serie A experience could come in handy. That being said, Milan are very focused on other targets for the time being.

As reported by Fabrizio Romano, they are working on Tiemoue Bakayoko, Sandro Tonali and Brahim Diaz. The latter’s arrival could inevitably rule out a return of Deulofeu, considering that they play in the same position (the right-wing).
