Boulaye Dia has ended up on AC Milan’s list of attacking targets and he has an attractive release clause in his deal, a report claims.
According to Tuttosport (via PianetaMilan) confirms that Dia is among the profiles being looked at by the Milan management as they seek out support for Olivier Giroud, who worked overtime last season.
The 26-year-old netted 16 goals in Serie A last season for a Salernitana side that hardly scored in abundance, and they have now used their €12.5m option to buy him permanently from Villarreal after the loan expired.
He signed a three-year contract with the Granata – therefore expiring in June 2026 – but it has a €25m release clause that can be paid in two instalments. However, it is only active before 20 July.
Therefore, Milan will have to make their assessments on Dia quickly if they decide they want to try and sign him, but Stefano Pioli is an admirer of his characteristics.

Does he have a European passport being born in France? If so he would be a good signing for us , much better then an ageing Morata or an unwilling Scamacca.
He has France passport. And actually it’s not a problem if he doesn’t, as we still can sign non-eu from domestic league. The problem is the non eu from outside league (Kamada, Chuk).
Dia is still better profile than Morata. Please, anyone but him.

I would give preference to BETO, he would love to play for us and we would love to have him play for us.
He would be our 1st choice and has the mobility and physical attributes we need and add Leao on the left Chuk on the right Pulisic or SMS behind him and we are frightening

Dia is waaay…better option for all those other strikers that mentioned earlier. Especially if we can paid him twice to Salernitana…
Dia would be a better option for us because imagine him scoring 16 goals for a low team like Salernitana and he already knowns seria A very well he would do well for a big team like Milan
