Tuttosport: Milan expected to enter negotiations with Man Utd over €17m-rated defender

AC Milan could soon enter negotiations to sign Diogo Dalot on a permanent basis from Manchester United, according to a report.

Dalot arrived on a season-long loan last summer without an option or obligation to buy, and although he hasn’t been a starter for the most part he has still registered plenty of appearances, showing his versatility through his ability to play left-back and right-back.

However, as we near the end of the season there is a decision to be made regarding the Portuguese U21 international because of the fact there is no option to make his stay permanent, meaning talks with the English club are needed.

Today’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) talks about the future of Dalot as the Turin-based newspaper explains that there could be new negotiations with Manchester United. The Red Devils are asking for at least €17m but do appear willing to sell him.

      1. He is versatile & has potential to improve.

Rather have him raise his ability & grow in value than having somebody like D’Ambrosio or Hysaj to warm the bench.
