Tuttosport: Milan eye alternatives to Bakayoko – Fulham and Lille stars among four names

AC Milan are eyeing a number of alternatives to Tiemoue Bakayoko given the deal is currently in a stalemate, a report claims.

It seemed as though working out a deal for the return of Bakayoko would be fairly straightforward, but the saga has gone weeks now without much movement in the right direction as Chelsea continue to demand a fee for an option to buy which Milan will not pay.

According to Sunday’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Bakayoko remains a concrete transfer target for the Rossoneri management, but there are also a number of alternatives being considered given the difficulties encountered in negotiations with Chelsea.

Most of the tracks lead to France, with Boubakary Soumaré of Lilla an option as well as Ibrahim Sangaré and Manu Koné of Toulouse.

However, the paper adds that in the last few hours the name of André Zambo-Anguissa has emerged. The 24-year-old currently plays at Fulham, having joined them from Marseille two years ago.
