Tuttosport: Milan eye bargain deal for midfielder with €40m release clause – the details

Yesterday, it wasn’t just the important game between AC Milan and Atalanta. In fact, the Rossoneri also had an important meeting for the market, which took place at Casa Milan earlier in the day.

The agents Graziano Battistini and Sebastiano Salaroli showed up at Casa Milan for meeting with the club. According to Tuttosport (via Milanlive.it), the main topics of discussions were Barcelona’s Emerson and Espanyol’s Marc Roca.

You can read more about the interest in the Brazilian here, but as for the Spaniard, the relegation of Espanyol has inevitably lowered his price tag. There is a €40m release clause in his contract but the final sale figure will be much lower.

Frederic Massara, Milan’s sporting director, has followed the 23-year-old midfielder this past season and also during the U21 Euros. Roca would replace Lucas Biglia, who will leave after this season, adding more quality and freshness to the midfield department.
